Here is the link to the blog on 1st pillar, if you have not read the blog.  https://sunrisenutritionhub. blogspot.com/2020/07/5- PILLARS-OF-GOOD-BODY-LIFE.html WHY IT’S NORMAL TO BE HEALTHY, VITAL AND STRONG, ABNORMAL TO BE SICK  The average child born into the world is perfectly healthy, with all its organs functioning perfectly. This is the normal state, and we should remain healthy, vital, and strong. The need is to remain same in future and we also want it that way, but as worldly awareness increases we forget our health. IT IS ABNORMAL TO BE TO E SICK The condition of sickness simply means you are going against the stream of life and thinking negatively. The law of life is the law of growth; all nature testifies to the operation of this law by silently, constantly expressing itself in growth. Where there is growth and expression, there must be life; where there is life there must be harmony; and where there is harmony, there is perfect health. So tod...

How to take control on our food with calorie control.

Humans are prone to fall for exaggerated versions of reality. Junk food, for example, drives our reward systems into a frenzy. After spending hundreds of thousands of years hunting and foraging for food in the wild, the human brain has evolved to place a high value on salt, sugar, and fat. Such foods are often calorie-dense and they were quite rare when our ancient ancestors were roaming the savannah. When you don’t know where your next meal is coming from, eating as much as possible is an excellent strategy for survival. Today, however, we live in a calorie-rich environment. Food is abundant, but your brain continues to crave it like it is scarce. The whole focus is on showing value on salt, sugar, and fat although its not advantageous to our health, but the craving persists because the brain’s reward centers have not changed for approximately fifty thousand years. The modern food industry relies on stretching our instincts beyond their evolutionary purpose. With natural, unpr...

How to Boost your Immunity by Eating right Food.

Immunity - Eating the right food can help boost your immunity. Citrus fruits are rich sources of vitamin C that directly strengthen the immune system. Herbs like turmeric, ginger and garlic are rich in antioxidants and linked to the prevention of a number of diseases including several types of cancer. Proteins also help nourish your immune system and hence should not be ignored. A combination of asanas and yogic breathing techniques can help boost your immunity. Some asanas to try include Viparita Karani, Bhujangasana, Matsyasana and Adho Mukha Svanasana. These poses help lower stress and boost immunity by pumping rich oxygenated blood to all the parts of the body. Energy - The food you eat is turned into glucose to fuel the body and maintain a constant supply of energy. Soy and green leafy vegetables that are rich in iron can effectively boost your energy levels. Fruits like apples, bananas and oranges can also help increase your energy. Yogurt rich in magnesium does not directly ...

Attain Energy at a Physical Level

You need to undertake the following measures: 1) Exercise: It is extremely important for every individual to exercise daily for an 30 to 45 Minutes at least 5 days in a week.. For human life, exercise is a great natural source of energy. Exercise helps in restoring the impaired acid-alkaline balance thus keeping the Pitta*, Vayu* and Kapha* (called Tridoshas*) well-balanced, which leaves you physically energetic. 2) Sleep: Sound sleep, in itself, is an amazing source of energy. But the sleep needs to be scheduled in a manner that you can wake up before sunrise. Waking up late, even if you complete your sleep, it will not reap you any benefit in terms of energy. 3) Regular Meals: Depriving the body of food or bringing, both are equally dangerous for the body. A small regular meal of your liking, every three hours, is a tried and tested formula for energy. An empty or excessively full stomach disrupts the acid-alkaline levels, which gradually drains you of energy. You must have ha...

What's the Difference Between Whey Isolate and Whey Concentrate?

There are several nutritional differences between whey isolate and concentrate. These differences are caused by the processing methods. When the liquid whey is collected as a by-product of cheese or yogurt production, it undergoes several processing steps to increase its protein content . After a sufficient protein concentration is achieved, the liquid can be dried to form whey concentrate powder that consists anywhere between 50% to 80% protein by weight. The remaining of the whey concentrate powder contains carbohydrates and fats. If different processing steps are used to reduce the fat and carbohydrate content of whey, a whey isolate powder containing 90% or more protein by weight can be produced Overall, the processing steps used in the production of whey isolate result in higher protein content and lower fat and carbohydrate content per serving. However, the types of amino acids found in both forms of whey are virtually identical, since they are derived from the same pr...

Diet by the Decade: Healthy Eating at Every Age

Whether you’re 20 years old or 70 years old, the basics of maintaining a healthy diet apply. Keep your proteins lean, focus on healthy carbohydrates (such as colorful fruits and veggies, and whole grains), and eat moderate amounts of healthy fats from foods such as nuts, avocado, olive oil and fatty fish. With each passing decade, there are some areas of your diet that may need some attention. There are subtle shifts in nutrient and calorie needs, and your eating and activity patterns are often influenced by the demands of your daily life. So, here is your decade-by-decade guide to healthy eating. Healthy Eating at Every Age How to Eat in Your 20sFor many, this is the decade when the transition is made from college to career. Eating (and drinking) habits in your early 20s may not be the best. As you transition into a regular work schedule, you might carry some of those habits with you. Resistance Training Tips For Beginners

If you are doing any resistance training (which includes weightlifting, band exercises and some forms of yoga and Pilates.) So Resistance training, along with the right amount, type, and the timing of protein intake can help muscles grow bigger and stronger. The most efficient form of exercise is what is known as high intensity interval exercise that combines resistance and aerobic exercise over a 30 to 45 minute time period. The proper form of exercise and proper nutrition are both important in feeding the muscle. Any exercise that stretches a muscle will help to build that muscle. Consuming protein, along with carbohydrate and proper hydration increases muscle mass. Muscle growth occurs more effectively when protein is consumed during an exercise recovery period (within one hour after completing resistance exercise, rather than before or during resistance exercise) Many studies show that resistance exercise sensitizes muscle to growth, promoting activities of amino aci...

WHY YOU GET UP SO EARLY AND DO THE THINGS YOU DO

Someone asked me WHY YOU GET UP SO EARLY AND DO THE THINGS YOU DO , which you can do any time of the day Aristotle said ----"It is well to be up before daybreak, for such habits contribute to health , wealth & wisdom ". I love it as it takes me to towards punctuality which is a trait of royalty, which also creates my reputation and trust If one cannot rise early  then one cannot make progress in nothing It is the one practice that changed me completely - elevated every other practice. Even Researchers call this kind of behavior that multiplies all your other regular patterns of performing a keystone habit It's more important in this scenario/time of exponential change, overwhelming distraction and overflowing schedules getting up early say by 5 AM is an antidote to average people like us It promotes the flow of a gorgeous state of mind. While every body is sleeping, the universe seems calm, your creativity soars, energy is definitely doubled & tran...

Health and Family conversation

As I sat in the park after my morning walk, My wife came and slumped next to me. She had completed her 30-minute jog. We chatted for a while. She said she is not happy in life. I looked up at her sheer disbelief since she seemed to have the best of everything in life. "Why do you think so?" "I don't know. Everyone tells I have everything needed, but I am not happy. "Then I questioned myself, am I happy?  "No," was my inner voice reply. Now, that was an eye-opener for me. I began my quest to understand the real cause of my unhappiness, I couldn't find one. I dug deeper, read articles, spoke to life coaches but nothing made sense. At last my doctor friend gave me the answer which put all my questions and doubts to rest. I implemented those and will say I am a lot happier person. She said, there are four hormones which determine a human's happiness - 1. Endorphins, 2. Dopamine, 3. Serotonin, and 4. Oxytocin. It is important we...

Health is Wealth | Sunrise Nutrition Hub

Health is Wealth : We have been brought up to believe in a certain set of ideas about wellness and disease. These ideas have shaped how we live, how we maintain our health, how we deliver healthcare, and how we die. Those ideas are not only misguided but are also fundamentally false and harmful to your health, finances, and quality of life. Learning the truth can dramatically improve your well-being now— and decades from now—and may well give you added decades to enjoy living. The medical mythology myths are: - Disease is inevitable as the human body ages, and we all inexorably progress from a state of health and vitality to one of disease and decrepitude. - Disease is a separate state than the state of being in health. - Once you have a disease, you are a fundamentally different being. - Once disease takes hold, it's just a matter of time before it “gets you.” - The progression (or is it regression?) into more and more severe disease and disability is i...
