CHANGE YOUR MORNING, CHANGE YOUR LIFE: THE 5 AM CLUB

I am reading a book by Robin Sharma__ "The 5 AM Club" Some extracts from the book, I thought I must share with you guys Most of us live today with a wish we had more time. Yet we waste the time we have. Allowing digital distraction, cyber diversions, & online nuisance to steal the irreplaceable hours of the blessing called your life . You never get your days back, you know that. Life is very very fragile. There are people who will wake up today, take shower, put on their clothes, drink their coffee, eat their oatmeal--- and then be killed in a motor vehicle collision on their way to the office.  That's just life happening. So don't put off doing whatever it takes to express your natural genius. Live in a way that feels true to you & pay attention to the small miracles every day brings. Be grateful for every moment. Don't be timid when it comes to your ambitions. Stop wasting time on insanely trivial things. And make it a priority to reclaim th...

WHY YOU GET UP SO EARLY AND DO THE THINGS YOU DO

Someone asked me WHY YOU GET UP SO EARLY AND DO THE THINGS YOU DO , which you can do any time of the day Aristotle said ----"It is well to be up before daybreak, for such habits contribute to health , wealth & wisdom ". I love it as it takes me to towards punctuality which is a trait of royalty, which also creates my reputation and trust If one cannot rise early  then one cannot make progress in nothing It is the one practice that changed me completely - elevated every other practice. Even Researchers call this kind of behavior that multiplies all your other regular patterns of performing a keystone habit It's more important in this scenario/time of exponential change, overwhelming distraction and overflowing schedules getting up early say by 5 AM is an antidote to average people like us It promotes the flow of a gorgeous state of mind. While every body is sleeping, the universe seems calm, your creativity soars, energy is definitely doubled & tran...

Health and Family conversation

As I sat in the park after my morning walk, My wife came and slumped next to me. She had completed her 30-minute jog. We chatted for a while. She said she is not happy in life. I looked up at her sheer disbelief since she seemed to have the best of everything in life. "Why do you think so?" "I don't know. Everyone tells I have everything needed, but I am not happy. "Then I questioned myself, am I happy?  "No," was my inner voice reply. Now, that was an eye-opener for me. I began my quest to understand the real cause of my unhappiness, I couldn't find one. I dug deeper, read articles, spoke to life coaches but nothing made sense. At last my doctor friend gave me the answer which put all my questions and doubts to rest. I implemented those and will say I am a lot happier person. She said, there are four hormones which determine a human's happiness - 1. Endorphins, 2. Dopamine, 3. Serotonin, and 4. Oxytocin. It is important we...

Why It's So Hard To Lose Weight After 50

Why It's So Hard To Lose Weight After 50: If you're like most men and women over 50, you've probably noticed how much easier it has become to gain weight than to lose it... Every year, that number on the scale keeps creeping up a few notches, EVEN IF you're saying "No" to Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and "Yes" to Yoga. So what the heck is going on? Why do your jeans keep getting tighter? Turns out, after you hit your 30's, your metabolism begins to slow down, which means your body is burning almost 200 less calories a day by the time you're 50. As If Your Slowing Metabolism Wasn't Enough... after 30 you also start losing about half a pound of your calorie burning muscle tissue each year (and at 50, that rate doubles!)2... not exactly a recipe for a slim waistline! So what's a concerned "50 something" to do? For most people, it's hard enough to find the motivation to exercise and the discipline to eat hea...

Health is Wealth : We have been brought up to believe in a certain set of ideas about wellness and disease. These ideas have shaped how we live, how we maintain our health, how we deliver healthcare, and how we die. Those ideas are not only misguided but are also fundamentally false and harmful to your health, finances, and quality of life. Learning the truth can dramatically improve your well-being now— and decades from now—and may well give you added decades to enjoy living. The medical mythology myths are: - Disease is inevitable as the human body ages, and we all inexorably progress from a state of health and vitality to one of disease and decrepitude. - Disease is a separate state than the state of being in health. - Once you have a disease, you are a fundamentally different being. - Once disease takes hold, it's just a matter of time before it “gets you.” - The progression (or is it regression?) into more and more severe disease and disability is i...

Exercise and Weight Management: Importance & Benefits

Exercise and Weight Management : When you are overweight, you have more fat stored up in your body than is necessary or good for you. You become overweight and flabby when you eat more “ high-calorie food ” than your body can use. Foods such as fats, sugars, starches, etc., supply the energy your body needs for its work. If you eat more high-calorie foods than is required for your daily work the surplus is stored in the form of fat. Fat is stored under the skin and around the internal organs. Everyone has, or should have some fat on his/her body. However excessive fat storage, particularly about vital organs, impairs physical efficiency and health. Fat makes the heart work harder since each extra pound of body fat requires about one quarter of a mile of blood vessels. It is obvious, therefore, that you cannot acquire the highest level of physical efficiency when you are overweight. The accumulation of fat on your body can be prevented or reduced by eating less high-calorie ...

A renowned cardiologist explains how eliminating wheat can IMPROVE your health . Cardiologist William Davis, MD, started his career repairing damaged hearts through angioplasty and bypass surgeries. “That’s what I was trained to do, and at first, that’s what I wanted to do,” he explains. But when his own mother died of a heart attack in 1995, despite receiving the best cardiac care, he was forced to face nagging concerns about his profession. "I’d fix a patient’s heart, only to see him come back with the same problems. It was just a band-aid, with no effort to identify the cause of the disease.” So he moved his practice toward highly uncharted medical territory – prevention – and spent the next 15 years examining the causes of heart disease in his patients. The resulting discoveries are revealed in "Wheat Belly", his New York Times best-selling book, which attributes many of our physical problems, including heart disease, diabetes and obesity, to our consum...
